I just brought a HP dv2104EU for New Year and i already have a desktop with NTL broadband connection. I don't have much knowledge on Laptop. i would like to use my desktop broadband connection also for my laptop is tht possible? if so would someone be able to give me set-by-step method in-order to setup my connection.

you will need a wireless router and a wireless adapter and some kind of broadband connection.

You need a router if you want to get online at the same time with both computers. Your laptop might have built in wireless so you probably dont need a wireless card
