The Pulitzer, its a nationally recognized award for journalism.

Its been a while since I watched, so perhaps it was a DC universe alternative name, if they could not get the rights from the "pulitzer award' people. i.e. I was watching Smallville DVD's last night and instead of the CDC(Center for Disease Control) they had the DCA(Disease Control Agency) So if it wasn't the Pulitzer, it was clearly intended to represent it.
