My new years resolution is "Do not make any New Year Resolutions" as it is about the only one I can keep - it has worked for a couple of decades and I stick by it.
Good luck for those who make other resolutions at this time of year. I have always found that April is a more appropriate time to make change - By then I have got over Christmas and New year and all the associated debt and weight gain and the depression that goes with it. By april I have kind of forgiven myself - managed to overcome the debt depression and am ready to start re-organising and restructuring my life.
Diets are more likely to succeed, the brain is more susceptible to budgeting and discipline is a lot easier. Roll on April Fools Day - its a lot less foolish for new year resolutions than new year is!
Good Luck

My new years resolution is to be the best person I can be towards my family friends and boyfriend. I also wouldn't mind losing about 10 -20 pounds. I want to good with my job and hope to make a bit of difference in the area around me, by helping out and volunteering around my neighborhood helping the elderly and cleaning up the park.

None. I made a resolution a few years back to stop making New Year's resolutions, and so far I've kept that one.
