what size hex key is it that you usually need for a pc hard drive?

to tear a hardrive apart , it takes a #1 TORX bit, if that was what you needed to know, but to just remove it from your computer it takes a #1 phillips bit.

Are you talking about an encryption key or a tool? There's no such thing as a #1 torx bit.

No hex key. Takes a Phillips screw driver
