My friend, who I've known since we were like 5 years old, and her mom took me to NYC, and I want to give them somthing to say "thank you for taking me with you to NYC" they love australia (they go ther frequently) and her mom collects porceline eggs... random, but I don't know if I should get them something that has to do with that, or ... i don't know.. if you have any ideas, plz tell me.

♥ ♥ something to do with Australia would be nice as would a porcelain egg since the mom collects them, either is great , you could also treat them to a dinner or something like that to say thank you ♥ ♥

That is very thoughtful of you. I would get them something that , they could do while they are in Australia. Ask your friend,where do they like to eat, shop, where do they stay. You could then provided them with a certificate from there having your friend place it in their bag,only to discover it when they arrive or arrange it so, when they visit, they are surprised that the bill has been taken care of, they are only handed an envelope with a note from you, saying thank you for your gift to NYC. or you get get them something they could use for traveling, that they don't have. if the hotel has something that you purchase, like a gift basket of snacks, wines and cheese etc.. in their room before they arrive. with a thank you note from you or take the easy way get what they collect.

Did you take photos while on the trip??? If so make a real awesome scrap book that shows how thankful you are to have shared the vacation with them--they have a thank you/scrap/photo book for the memories---

How about a nice bouquet of flowers and a lovely card expressing your thanks. It's appropriate for your friend and her mother.
