when ever i go down hill on roller coasters, it feels as if my heart is going up into my throat. It's scary and i guess you could say it hurts. I wish i didnt have this problem. Any one else have this. Or if you have, what did you do about it to stop it. And no stupid answers like "Stop riding roller coasters". If i wanted to do that, i wouldn't be posting this. Thanks

Ok. I don't have a fear of going on roller coasters. It's just like my heart can't stand going down hill. I rode the Rockin roller coaster at disney world and i love it so i can go upside down. But i rode one at sea world and i almost died! I can't go on the Tower of Terror either. I just can't. Does this clear it up.

yes i use to hate that when i was little. but i ride them all the time now..if you scream when you go down a hill you won't feel weird.. or close your eyes. if you keep riding them you will get over it and it will turn out to be really fun.......i use to neverrr ride rollercoasters.

My 1st experience on a roller coaster was one in Australia with a double loop. As a 9 yr old that was a very scary feeling * I did end up with bruises on my neck from the harness, and for years put me off going on rides that flipped me upside down. But as I got older I started going on a few rides that went upside down and I would generally start with my eyes closed until I got a feel for the ride and then I would open them and it seemed to help relax me.
1 thing to try would be going on smaller or slower roller coasters and getting used to the feeling of going down hill & than as that gets more comfortable go back on the bigger & faster ones

It's very unlikely but it has happened so it's kind of just a chance you're taking when getting on a roller coaster
