Cyring, yes, you could be. Why cry for a new year? I'm just grateful it's coming. What will it have in store for us? We can only wonder and hope. Have a happy one!
Easy Pumpkin Bread Pudding:
This can be calorie reduced by using the diet bread, skim milk and skim Pet milk. You can use just egg whites and you can substitute Sweet 'n Low for the sugar.
6-8 servings 1¼ hours 20 min prep
1 can pumpkin puree
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
1/2 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/3 cup raisins
4 cups milk
6 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
8 cups bread, cubed
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Put the bread cubes and raisins in a buttered 3 quart oven dish.
Then in a large mixing bowl, start with the eggs, and beat them, then add the remaining ingredients.
Mix well and pour egg mixture evenly over bread.
Stir around a bit to make sure all the bread is coated.
Bake for 50 minutes or until the pudding is puffy and a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
Cool slightly before serving.
(Yes, it will fall in the center. The eggs cause this to happen)

No, I always do and so does my mum. I don't care what anyone says it is a very gloomy time. You think about the years that have gone by, and the people that you have lost. You also think about the coming year...... what will it bring? where will it take you? etc., etc.,
I think all the emotional stress of christmas makes you a bit teary too (thinking about all the money you have spent is enough to make anybody cry!!)
No more tears now - well not for another 364 days anyway!

i personally havent been too happy last few years on new years as somehting happened to me on new years in 2002......... so i usually have tears, in fact here they come now!

im a bit sad too, my friend died in july, and i feel as though we are leaving her behind in the past now, its a very weird feeling! hope you have a good night though
