Is there anyway to burn a DVD from a downloaded movie on itunes?

it says i can burn a data one but it wont play in a dvd player.

If you have a DVD burner, then use your burning software to create a DVD. Otherwise, the best you can create is a VCD (video CD). Some DVD players cannot read this, which may be your problem. I'd say either get a DVD burner to create DVD's, or a DVD player which can read VCD's
