I agree, you will never be a great team with Vick.
Schaub is a great QB, and deserves a true chance somewhere.
But I question Vick losing speed comment, 1000 yards rushing this season?
Reminds me so much of the Kordell Stewart situation in Pittsburgh a few years back.

Matt Ryan seriously isn't the savior next season for the Falcons. obviously, the perfect participant accessible at that %. change into Dorsey. inspite of the indisputable fact that the priority for the Falcons is, has been, and may want to were Michael Vick. As a number of the speaking heads indicated, not taking Ryan creates a higher headache for the Falcons next year even as Vick receives placed on parole and may want to be able to go back. by drafting Ryan No. 3, the Falcons can legitimately say the Vick era is over and we are rebuilding behind the perfect QB contained in the 2008 draft. in the journey that they bypass a million-15, human beings might want to commence speaking about bringing Vick lower back besides. inspite of the indisputable fact that the Falcons ought to commence over on offense, they have a sparkling coach, and why not rebuild now quite than attempt to ascertain if Vick receives out first and then if he can get lower back into the league??? The Falcons were undesirable earlier, they are going to be undesirable lower back, yet a minimum of the media could have something useful to communicate about quite than Vick's go back.

Michael Vick is an AMAZING athlete. He's just not an amazing quarterback. They need a quarterback to be able to win. In an ideal situation, they would move Vick to running back, and start schuab, or bring somebody else in. Vick would be a very good running back, in my opinion.
So, yes, they are making a mistake by keeping Vick at QB. Not necesarily because of Schaub, but because Vick isn't a winning quarterback.

Yes and no. Vick is an amazing athlete, but not the greatest passer. The Schuab can make almost every type of throw, but the falcons receivers aren't play-makers. Either way, the falcons are not going to the playoffs with Vick starting the entire season, so it wouldn't hurt to give schuab a shot.

Atlanta is not making a mistake. Vick is still the man for the job. Atlanta has just never been a team that goes to the Super Bowl. They went once in 98 or 99 and that's about it.

Yes, I dont know if Schuab is the longterm answer but Vick is a coach killer. They can not win consistantly with Vick and his erratic arm and he lacks a feel for the pro game. Very exciting to watch at times no doubt but not someone you can ride to a championship. Trade Vick while he has some people still fooled (they may even get a 1st rounder for him from someone). Give Schuab a chance and if he doesnt work out start from scratch, why prolong the inevitable.

Scahub is very good but Vick is a gamebreaker. He's just been placed in poor offensive sets that don't utuilize his abilities. Plus all the talk about how he can't pass has distracted him. He's Michael Vick not Dan Marino. Marino couldn't crawl. Has a great arm but no real weapons save for Dunn. May be time to trade him though. Change of scenery might be good for everyone.

I do not think Vick is a good quarterback. He should be made a wide receiver or running back and Matt Schaub is should be made their quarterback.. A quarterback is to lead a team by example. If a quarterback, or any player on my team, gave the fans a finger gesture, he would no longer play for me.

Schaub is good and it'll be a shame for the Falcons to lose him.
However, Vick will bounce back. Everybody has tough years in the NFL, it's a violent workplace. When Vick does bounce back, he'll be more than good, he'll remind you he's a double-threatening, team-carrying, game-winning monster.

They very well could be, but Vick still can be exciting to watch, but his antics this year could make his stay in Atlanta kinda short.
