Its hormonal problem. During old age there is deficiency of harmons that bring change in their nature & they become naggers.

They are not nagging dear. They have the life experience and they are trying to guide you from making a mistake. Only a very careing person will do that. Respect their age and listen to any advice they give because they were in your shoes before reaching their old age.
