my betta fry range from .75 to 1.24 I noticed that some of the larger betta have stripes like the female when breeding but they are only 5 to 6 weeks old they cant be old enouf to breed yet is this normal for betta fry

Betta juvvies get stripes just like the adults and the females will also get fat with eggs. You shouldn't breed them young for 2 reasons: the eggs wont be as devoloped and also the juvvies are small and still delicate.

Remember that vertical stripes on females are the breeding striped but horizontal stripes are a stress indication in males and females of all ages.
