i mean what happened to the adults in it? is there a sequal? can someone explain the end to me if there isn't?

nope. King never wrote a sequel, so a movie hasn't been made yet.
and good thing, because that 'It' movie sucked big time.

No there is no sequel. I would recommend reading the book though the movie is wonderful the book gives lots more detail into the characters lives.
