I think it'd be even worse, in space you can go up and down in addition to the ordinary left and right. Also there's no landmarks in space so you'd be hopelessly lost, and seeing how space is endless you could quite literally wander in any given direction for the rest of your life without realizing it

Lost people walk in circles because they cannot see their desired destination. In space, you can see everywhere. You can see all the planets, lots of stars, even other galaxies. There is no horizon for them the be over, and no mountains or trees or even clouds to hide them. So you could never be lost in space; you would always know where you were.

No, a body traveling in space would go in a straight line unless pulled off course by gravity.
on the other hand...
Yes, if you go far enough you will return to where you started, from the other side, much like going around the Earth.

The Universe is a hyperdimentional sphere. A four dimentional ball.
If you traveled far enough striaght in any direction, you would end up where you started.
Also, I imagine loosing your sense of direction in a place where there is no gravity to tell you which way 'down' even is would be much easier than in the woods.

Depends if gravity is pulling you. Mind you if you were pulled by gravity, you would be fried. If you were wandering in space, your life is limited. In space you cannot dictate your actions so either you go in orbit of the sun, you'll be dead, or orbit/falling down in some planets' gravity.

Probably. But, not everyone who gets lost in the woods does that, either.

um, think about what youre asking.
Space is multi-dimensinal, you would travel forever in any direction and never reach the end.
