It's easy to add ram. The hardest part is figuring out what your computer needs. Sites like tigerdirect.com have utilities that will tell you what you need. You have to open the tower and look for the ram slots. If they're full you'll have to remove an old one to put a new one in. It would be good to have someone who's done it before show you how to get the ram in and out of the slots.

First you need to know what kind of ram you need. Whether it is SDRAM, Ide Ram, DDR Ram, DDR2 Ram. I would use this website (http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/) this website will check your system to see what kind of ram you have right now and how much Ram you can put in. Then you have to find the ram, either at a store like bestbuys or online. Try newegg.com or mwave.com.

When buying RAM, I suggest you buy the RAM with the highest frequency to get faster performance.

Hope that helped

It's usually easy to add RAM. Just take off the case and slide it into the slot...But there are specific types that you can buy, and you have to check if you have empty slots.
