Right now ... it is 5:30 PM (Central Time Zone, USA) ... and I'm spending my time scraping the popcorn coating off the ceiling in my home (downstairs areas), sanding and patching the flat surface. I also just finished adding the last coat of stain on some wood that I am using to make bookcases for my home. (So I'll be bringing the pieces in for the night shortly) Then ... finally, a dinner here in MY HOME .. comfy, cozy, and SITTING DOWN (so pleasant to have MY home to MY SELF)
Tomorrow, New Year's Day ... I'll be putting on the primer coat, and at least one additional coat of paint ... then installing the NEW Ceiling Light Fixtures. Plus more wood will need to be stained too -- and another light string will be taken down (from the Christmas lights), cleaned, checked, and put away for another year.

It's only 4:35PM here so i have about 7 hours and 25 minutes to go before it's the new year.
I'm just sitting around doing nothing at the present time.
However, i will be eating an amazing dinner soon.
And then i suppose i'll get ready and just go out.
I'm not really sure what i'm going to do yet.
All i know is that it does involve the following: coffee, cigar, hill.

Well since I have about 8 1/2 hrs left of it I am cleaning my house until about 7 pm then I will get dressed to go out with my family we are going to Old Sac to watch the fireworks and enjoy the festive day!!!

I just ate lollies and cake and watched the fireworks in Sydney, Australia on TV. Im 9 months pregnant and as big as a house so i didnt want to get all squished at the harbour, seeing it was so packed with people.
For everyone that hasnt celebrated yet HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

only 5:33 pm here so still have over 6 hours..but plan to watch the ball fall with hubby, have a quiet evening at home

its 3:42 in the afternoon theres still plenty of time. but right now im supposed to be doing homework. and then i have been senenced to babysit all night long.
