Ummm, yes, but saying we should stop letting illegal Mexican immigrants into the US is not. What I find hilarious is that legal Mexican immigrants stood with illegal Mexican immigrants when they boycotted working for a day. Yet, now, some of the legals are losing their jobs to illegals because the illegals can't complain about the lower pay (lower than the minimum wage, no benefits). I've been thinking about going Border Patrol when I get out of the Army...maybe I'll get lucky and find myself working near my hometown or within a day's distance from my husband's hometown...

I find it odd that the illegals say they take the jobs no one else will take, yet oftentimes it's legals and citizens who were born in the US losing their jobs to the illegals. What do they mean no one else will take the jobs? Someone else already did and got fired so they could have the job.

You racists don't really make good points.

Anyone can have fifteen babies and have the government support them, not just Mexicans. I've seen white trash walk around barefooted in the grocery store with 4 or 5 kids all about the same age, using food stamps to pay for their items. It's the same with blacks, and asians.

What the government should really do is educate these people (and I mean all those who think having multiple children is a great way to live), on safe sex methods.

Oh, and I really think you shouldn't be jealous of people who get help from the government...think about it would you really want to be poor and needy, or working and making it on your own?

Yes and no.
Yes because obviously they are from a different culture and have a different ethnic back ground.
And no, I believe, because America has it's own poverty problem, one that doesn't get near the recognition it should be getting. I recently went to a fast food restraunt and 3/4 of the employees were Mexican. Half of them could barely speak English. Two things infuriated me : 1) Some high school kids wanting to earn money for college had been looking for work, ( my daughter told me ) and had not been hired by this restraunt - Why??? 2) If they are going to live and work in our country, can't they at least learn to speak our language??

STOP ALL ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, PERIOD. People who want to come here and work are allowing those who want to sneak in and do us harm go unoticed, that is the real and present danger. No a fence won't stop the bad guys, but it would make it easier to catch them sneaking in through alternative methods. It's a simple matter of economics that we can't take care of teh people in teh USA right now, there is not enough work, unemployment statistics lie because employers have many ways of making employees miserable until they quit or making them look bad so they can dismiss them with "cause" and thus escape responsibility for paying them unemployment benefits, yes I'm one of them and bitter about it. The short term jobs that were available in construction or landscaping are taken up by teh illegals, squeezing people like me out. Politicians don't give a crap yet they all call me looking for donations and my vote. It's teh greed of those who want cheap labor in this country, and teh greed and corruption of the government in Mexico that are the reason their citizens have to come here looking for work to survive. We have people complaining about population growth and urban sprawl one minute and praising immigration the next. They marvel at how future generations will be mostly made up of these recent immigrant groups, while making it impossible for my generation to get or hold a decent job, buy or build a place to live to even think about raising a family. Term Limits makes more sense than anything, throw the bums out of office and keep throwing them out until tehy get the message.

If you are talking about illegals jumping the fence, then you are perfectly legit in thinking that. In fact, I completely agree. Illegal is illegal, they could be Canadian, German, English, Polish, etc. The point is, it's not the Canadians or Germans or English or Polish doing it, it's the Mexicans. I think Mexico has many problems that it has to face, and I think instead of jumping the fence, the Mexican public should get involved and improve their own country.
