I know he was a psychiatrist but I wonder if he is mentioned in textbooks because of his interest in preventing mental illness by getting at root of the original genetic basis of schizophrenia.

Therapists and doctors don't make money by curing diseases... oh no... it's waaay more profitable to treat them rather than cure them..... I doubt they would want to support a notion of non-drug treatment.... which is sad.
