Third weekend of September , 1988.
Jumped the shark when they did away with "Lyman" (Jon's rommmate and Odie's owner)
Also when Garfield started walking on his hind legs ALL the time, and when it became apparent that Jon could understand the things Garfield is thinking, and would answer him.
It was more fun when Garfield was fatter, uglier, walked like a real cat, and insulted Jon without Jon having a clue.
Also whatever happened to "Doc-Boy?" and "Nermul"?

When they put him in 3D and added a crappy guy to do the voice over's. Garfield The Movie doesn't do justice to the show. I love watching the cartoons. What a classic.
