Yes, do! Japan is wonderful! If you're a native speaker the best way is to teach English.

You need a degree and a TEFL qualification. Try www.saxoncourt.com. They get you here, fetch you from the airport, arrange an apartment and give you some training to work with kids.

On the other had, if you're not tough and get homesick easily, don't waste your money. People here can't speak English, their writing system is strange and people easily get culture shocked in the first weeks.
