well, if it's a whirlpool, the belt is old and lost it's grip and the drum rollers are hard. has it or does it squeal? whirlpool / kenmore dryers are prone to this, so they make kits to fix it so that it runs like new. the kit costs about $30.00, and comes with belt, idler pulley, and 2 drum rollers. the instructions, with pictures are really good and the repair is pretty simple. it's like putting 2 new tires on your car and having the front end aligned, your dryer will run great!! you can get it on line or at your local appliance parts store, sears parts, too. if it is not one of these brands, it will be a similar fix, but i don't know the cost or if in kit form. good luck and happy new year!!

It seems such as you have a bad heating element. in specific circumstances they harm and fuse themselves to the dry housing. they are going to nevertheless provide off a partial warmth, you're purely working that area on a hundred and ten, the warm convey approximately independent. Thermostates could additionally go undesirable, because of the fact the timer and there is likewise a turn on the motor that kicks the heating element in as quickly because it reaches a definite velocity. I extremely have additionally considered the cartridge fuses examine a hundred and ten or 220 oacross the two certainly one of them and as quickly as you utilized a load to it the voltage dropped to 0.
