I believe his answer has to be yes.
I woke up early Sunday morning to see the most barbarous image ever on British television. An ex-president was about to be hanged. Deep down, how do you feel Mr Blair? Don't you feel terrified that a person's life is about to be taken on your command. I bet you would argue that Saddam was tried, convicted, sentenced and executed by the government of Iraq.
A government that was forcefully imposed and installed by you and Mr Bush. A government that is still shouting for help because it has no sovereign power, a government that is still politicially divided without a stable parliamentary or a practiable legislation or a workable agenda, a government whose only successful ambition was to execute its predecessor. Would you call that a respectable government of modern day democracy and judiciary? Well, we oppose death sentence, but not oppose showing our children the saddistic image of Saddam's execution. Be terrified, be very terrified Mr Blair.

I don't think that Blair reads these boards, however maybe one of his minions will and can answer for him. Personally I think that the Iraq government will still be supported by Bush of US troops for years to come as it was imposed by outsiders. I wonder how the Yanks would feel if someone went to Washington removed Bush or any other President, and both government chambers and imposed their own ideas on them?

Come to think of it things are getting nearer the 1984 scenario USA, Europe and China look like being the main power blocks. Watch out here comes big brother.

Hopefully not because now that Saddam has been hanged for crimes against humanity the spotlight comes back o Blair and his corrupt government, hopefully it won't be too long before Blair is also hanged or beheaded for crimes against the British public!

Well said, it sums up the situation perfectly. Looking at Iraq since Saddam was removed it is plain to see why he ruled with an iron fist. The country is running riot with various factions vying for supremacy, at least he kept the people under control. Now the lunatics are running the asylum.
Are you satisfied Bush & Bliar, you've got the oil now how are you going to sort the mess out ?????

Ex president? Are you kidding, Saddam was a dictator and a killer. Blair is happy that there is one less country trying to blow it off the map. Next stop Iran.

I don't think he's happy. Tony Blaire is strongly against capital punishment. Although he sees that it might mean Iraq is moving forward, there is all that stuff about the courts not being sorted out.

T.Bliar didn't have anything to do with condemning Saddam to hang - he weaseled his way out of it.
