So much could change before the election.. yet so far Obama is looking to be the best Democratic candidate out there. He may not have as much experience, yet experience is overrated in presidential politics. Obama was the first African American to be president of the Harvard Law Review which is such a prestigious honor... he has a great intellect, yet he knows how to talk to everyone in a way that he conveys his message so that everyone can understand. Also when he speaks he connects with the people. He also is very candid about his uncertainties and imperfections. Also, his ideas are good; he just needs to have more of a plan for them. And finally, he seeks common ground with conservatives in an effort to try to mend the divided nation... which in my opinion is something American needs.

Well, I'll say this.

Both Obama and Edwards have 10X the air of integrity that Bush does. I wouldn't buy a used car or a dime bag from Bush if he was just a workin' stiff. I wouldn't trust him for squat.

Yes and that is not a compliment. If you are not a leftie kook, Democrats do not want you. The rank and file everyday Democrat is not part of this group anymore. See Joe Lieberman

I'll tell ya, he's intelligent, seems genuine, and the people REALLY like him. I think the only thing holding his back as of right now is inexperience. I'm sure we'll hear more from Senator Obama in the not-so-distant future!

I don't think so. He is too young, and although there are many for him, there are still a lot against him. There is still a long time until caucus time in 2008 for others to decide to run.
