If you need to update the BIOS on your motherboard, and you have a compelling reason to do so, you may want to contact your computer manufacturer to have them walk you through the process.

Bascially you will need a boot disk with the BIOS update and boot to it. It will run and update. Keep in mind that if your power goes out while the BIOS is updating it will keep your computer from starting up again. So plug into an Uninterruptable Power Supply if you have one.

make sure it is the right bios for your board.Use whatever utility your motherboard disk has or go to thier website for a boot program that is intended to update the bios.If anything (ie power failure or wrong bios) goes wrong your board is garbage. Good luck

why are you updating the bios? if you got the wrong bios you will fry your motherboard and you may not be able to recover from it. never update the bios unless it address a specific problem your having. i'll tell you how to update it if you tell me why you think you need to update it :)
