Absolutely. Racist remarks, though they're racist, are an exercise of free speech. Generally speaking, racist remarks on comedy shows are used to show the fallacy of racist ways of thinking. It's empowering in a way. If you don't like it, you have the free will to turn the channel AND to let that network's sponsors know you're unhappy. This can be done by either putting your disdain in writing, or it can be done by not buying the products and services of the sponsors.

depends on what you call racist. i think its racist to make fun of a persons religion, a remark can be to many topics. plus how is it racist when black call blacks the same name that whites are accused of being racist call them. that's where its really dumb. now what i really hate is when someone says because they are a certain race they are dumb or something like that race has nothing to do with a persons mind and education. its how they live and how they act that makes them what they are. they want to use the Ebonics or gang slang then i guess i am racist because they are not using proper English or spelling. today's comedy is stupid and not funny. more like a bunch of perverts nowadays.

People need to get over it and quit being so sensitve to racist remarks...if people were to laugh and joke about it maybe it would help people get past all the racist stuff.
