Props to the 3 guys who posted above me . I like old school rap like pac and bigie i dont like too much modern day rappers i pretty much only like the game, 50 cent and eminem. Sunshine rap dont cause people to go kill other people, start gangs and do drugs. Like all music and shows it does cause kids to copy the smaller more catchy things, but all those things were around way before rap even came to the scene. All that sh*t came first the rap came after and described their experience with that stuff and were not telling you to do it, they were telling you their life was crap because their parents were drug addicts or how before they started rapping they had to sell crack just to feed their kids. Todays rap actually glorifies those things, but still its not why we got these problems.

I like rap' gangsta rap is the best. these artists are telling of the way life is like and how things are in the inner cities. almost all of them know of the daily hardships that are out there. What better way to spread the message than thru music.
the people who don't like are the ones who are not listening for the message they are the ones who are only hearing the words. the words have no meaning if you can't hear what the message is.

REAL rap represents the hardships of the ghetto. Yes i love rap, how could you say all of its bad when you've only heard the garbage today. Alot of the stuff today is bad, however we had many classics before that. People need to start doing research before saying all rap's garbage. Because its not!!!

I think rap has a bad reputation. I still listen and love rap. I think the problem though is that people look at one artist and categorize the whole genre as being bad. Also people look at rap and just think they talk about nonsene. But in reality they dont they talk about whats going on there life. For example Tupac everyone always looks at him as being some negative artist when the truth was he was spittin the truth and it was too rough and hard for ppl to handle so they just categorized him as a rebel and never really listened to what was behind his lyrics.

there's nothing wrong with rap...........if you don't like it then you don't like it. it doesn't make it bad just cuz you don't like it. it just means that's not your taste.
