Why do you want to check the spelling? I take it you got a bounceback/undeliverable message when you tried to send something?
The chances are, you won't find information to confirm that it's your cousin on a conventional search engine, at least I would hope not. Personal information aside, would you like to be that easily searchable? That would be a spammer's/stalker's dream come true.
Have you tried to Google his/her email address?
Can you not call your cousin or any relatives/friends to check it?
