I have an xbox 360 and i need a present for my son in five months. I need to know now so when they have more shipmens, I will be able to know which is better. Do not say the nintendo wii because it is less expensive, price does not matter at all.

i suggest the nintendo Wii because it's more fun because you actually pllay the game instead of doing it yourself. Play station 3 to me is almost the same as the first one so if you buy that then just buy the second one insted.

Well the good thing about Nitendo Wii is tht
1. Little thingy tht u move around with tht senses ur moves
2. More active games
3. Gets u moving and not sitting around like a lazy person
4. U get 2 place sports games and u can actually feel like ur in the game
5. CHEAPER THAN THE PS3
The good thing about a PS3 is tht
1. Better graphics
2. If ur a lazy person u get to sit on ur but and do nothing Xcept move ur fingers
3. You get 2 play more different games than just sports
4. It can be wireless so u dont have 2 worry about sitting close 2 the PS3 bcoz u think the controler might disconnect
5. More features than the Wii

It depends on what you enjoy of course. If you love those mario and nintendo games which have been around for a while and in my opinion still havent failed the wii is right for you. If you are big on graphics and all those shooting games which are quite fun you would go for either the 360 or the PS3

ok i'll compare both so you can figure wich one is better but i say wii.

price 500-600
can't play all ps1 games
games arent very intresting
online isnt as good as 360s but wiis hasent come out yet so cant judge agaist its.
games are 60$
big and bulky
nothing unike about it
wii pros.

very unike controller that gets you into the game.
motion sensor so if you want to swing your sword just swing your arm.

(thats just some features i know of tons more)

o and some post said ps3 is better because it isnt only sports games. neither is the wii. ever heard of zelda twlight princess or excite truck. what about metal slug anthology, hmmmm elebits, warioware smooth moves, and thats just off the top of my head

I got my nephew a nintendo wii from that site and all i had to do was enter in my email address. If you really want one you should check out the site and get one from there.

I love the Nintendo Wii. its super fun and for sure everyone will enjoy it. ive been playing it the past week and played it during a family party last night and everyone was amazed. yeah but my friend has the PS3 and says its really cool and thats its worth 600 bucks so your decision!

Get the DS Lite! It's awesome and the touch screen was a brilliant idea. It comes in pink, black, and white and I'm sure more colors are going to come. You should get the DS Lite. Anyways, too many people have the Wii and PS3. Good luck with your choice! Hope I helped! =)

If you are buying it for your son, I would go with the Wii. It has more "family friendly" games than the PS3. It also already has wayyyy more of a selection of games out right now. Way more entertainment value for your son.

-can store demos for games.
-best graphics
-best games
-Sony already have the PS3s. they are just keeping the PS3s for rarity and to raise the prices.
Wii:
-almost like real life
-graphics suck

Wii if you want a fun experience from day one from multiple games with just fine graphics.
PS3 if you want to have the potential of great graphics later on. (A good deal of PS3 games that are out right now are at or below xbox360's level, instead of above)
