John Wayne wasn't any more racist than anyone else. He worked with Indians in his pictures, so certainly got to know them and had no problem there.

You should post some kind of proof or whatever to back up this very negative idea. Other wise you are no better than a paparazzi hiding behind a bush to ambush someone. This is gossip nothing more. 99% of us never met the guy, But I never heard a single word that would lead me to think He was a racist. And I am an old old lady. I lived near hollywood. I would have heard.

He may not have portrayed Indians in a truthful way in the movies he was in, and I don't know if he had any say in that, but he was not racist.
