Rape is a crime wherein the victim is forced into sexual activity against his or her will, in particular sexual penetration. It is a type of sexual assault. Sexual assault is any type of sexual activity that you do not agree to, including: inappropriate touching, vaginal, anal, or oral penetration, sexual intercourse that you say no to, rape, attempted rape, child molestation. Sexual assault can be verbal, visual, or anything that forces a person to join in unwanted sexual contact or attention. Sexual offenses are the type of sexual assaults.

All rapes are sexual assaults, but not all sexual assaults are rapes. Rape is penetration, assault is any assault done in any sexual fashion ie fondling, touching, forcing another to touch, sexual offense is the any lesser crime involving any sexual act or overture

Sexual assault is conduct of a sexual nature (grabbing, touching, etc) toward another person accompanied by actual or threatened physical force that induces fear, shame, or mental suffering.
Rape is sexual assault that results in actual sex acts (which can or cannot involve intercourse it can be other sex acts) do to force.

Rape is forcing someone against their own will to have sex. A sexual assault or offense is touching or molesting a person.

Rape is physically forcing someone to have sexual intercourse with you.
Sexual Assault is forcing some one with any type of sexual contact, but not intercourse.
Sexual Offense is saying something sexual that is not wanted by the reciever.

I'm not a lawyer and I don't even play one on TV. It could vary by jurisdiction but basically:
Rape = Forcible penis penetration.
Assault = Forcible sex act that is not rape.
Offense = Different degrees and may be consensual but illegal such as with a 16yr old or may not involve a victim.

Sexual freedom and promiscuity both have the same underlining meaning but promiscuity has a negative notion behind it. I don't think you should worry about what other people think. Its your business and no normal person will judge you or care.
