Greed. I keep on wondering why people aren't just happy with what they have. Maybe because I live in a NYC suburb, but folks here and NYC are greedy as heck. Sometimes I think they confuse greed with being competitive, regardless, the bottom line is I'm going to be lied to non stop.

People in positions of power who invoke emotional, cultural, or spiritual justifications for their personal economic gain, ending in the damaging millions of average people's lives.

e.g., Bush's supposed claim to being this great Christian, yet he starts two wars to make his friends a ton of money and puts the US into massive debt.

when career criminals get nothing more than slaps on the wrist but a GOOD citizen who ONCE gets caught up on the wrong side of the law has the book (not thrown but) HURLED at them!!!!
