how far can a beared dragon see?
does a bearded dragon see colour or just black and white?

i dont know so much about beardies but my water dragin has some weird reactions to colour and different distances.
My dragon loves green. If i wear anything green or have a green item in my face she will love it and jump towards it and foloow with hers eyes.
Ohter people have noticed that my baby dragon watches me as I walk around as I am her 'mother' even if i use the bathroom about 3/4 metres from her viv.
I think they take in alot and have perceptions of different colour definately

scott you have no idea, a bearded dragon in a type of lizard that many people have as a pet, and i know they can c movement, but that was already said

I dont know about how far, but I feed my dragon this colorful food pebbles every other week, and he knows exactly what it is. Also i know they See there food through movement. like jumping crickets or moving worms or mice.

mine likes red food or orange food the best, so maybe he does see in colour. He can see his crickets quite far away - although I think he hears them better than he sees them.

when my pair are on kitchen floor. my male can see female over 15 feet away . because he starts to display then runs across floor and mates.as in colours female knows when she is getting wax worm they come in green tub. plus when i feed them pinkies with yellow pincher's she knows.hope this helps you.
