I don't think you can use a psp AS a router. You certainly could use it ON a router. The psp connects to the internet and attempts to get an IP# through the DHCP server (or you can assign a static IP# in the settings). I dont think the PSP has an ethernet port in it, which would be one of the most important thing to behaving as a router. It has builtin wireless which would let you connect it to a Wireless Router that you already have. Otherwise, you'd have to use the USB cable to get the Internet access on it, which I believe would require some drivers to be installed (which I'm not sure comes with PSP). I had a router/dsl modem combo deal that made me install certain USB drivers if I wanted to use USB for internet. Otherwise Ethernet ports work as is, without drivers (except for Hardware drivers).
