David James for England is the call at frat ton park so why not give him a go along with Matt Taylor,Gary O'Neil then theres always sol Campbell too top 6 finish this season play up Pompey !!!!

I admit he has been good this season for Portsmouth but to be given the no1 shirt, NO. it should go to a younger goalkeeper such as Scott Carson, who despite Charltons terrible squad, has shined and shown that he is a good goalkeeper. David James makes too many simple errors when in the England goal, but yes we do need a replacement to Robinson, he's just not good enough to be the England no1.

Why, he's rubbish.
The idea of being a goal keeper is that you stop the goal going in the net, someone should tell him this.

well if you go by current league points or form it should be James he is more reliable now and Robinson is a bit of a liability James for now then maybe Carson in a few years he is amazing for Charlton and Kirkland is class for wigan sham pool sold him i do not rate Robinson at all but at the time he was best we had but more options now

I think he should as he is in the form of his life. He doesnt make the
silly mistakes that he used to and Robinson is dodgy with crosses (why they call him Dracula... tee hee)
