Afghanistan was not responsible for 9/11, they were only responsible for harboring Al-Qaeda, and Saudi Arabia made sure they mess up Iraq big times, so they can stay the biggest oil producer...Money makes you evil enough to kill your own people...

I don't see how Afghanistan benefited, but Saudi Arabia gained a 'silent partner' in the US. Saudi Arabia was happy to see the US attack Iraq.
The spin put on the countries in the Middle East is such that nobody thinks much about Saudi Arabia but everyone feels animosity toward Iraq, and more recently, Iran.

Thousands of dead infidels. The Arab rulers already have more money than the could ever use. So purely religious, and entertainment grounds are left. Killing non-Muslims, especially Americans, is good sport these days.
That, and they are jealous of the US and its remarkable evolution. Middle eastern 'cultures' had how many centuries head start of the Europeans? Now this upstart nation with its outlandish freedoms, and non-Muslim faith, in 230 years is the biggest power on the block. The Arabs had millenia to advance themselves, but no. They were too busy keeping everything as it had been to develop. Lets imagine what the US can accomplish when we are as old as the 'cradle of civilization'. In just over 2 centuries we built the bomb, the home computer, flight, a space program, prosperity, global influence, and we have a land that people risk death to live in. Among the sand folk, people die for showing their face, or just trying to get out. We let people think for themselves. This was an attempt to look powerful to a population of image driven people. Although this was a horrible loss of life,...this was the best they could manage.

Neither Afghanistan, nor Saudi was responsible for 9/11. Alqaida is a myth created by Bush. There is no such thing. 9/11 was an inside job to make a pretext for invading Iraq and Afghanistan.

Ok how is Saudi responsible for 9/11? I'm not saying America deserved to be attacked because they didn't but putting the blame on Saudis and Afghans just so you can make the Middle East more hated isn't the answer. Maybe Afghanistan had something to do with it because the Taliban run that country but Saudi didn't. Actaully I'd go for the Zionists having something to do with it. They just want the USA to kill all the Arabs/Muslims. You should be happy that Saudi is not refusing to give USA oil like they did in the Arab-Israeli war.

Afghanistan got bombed back to the stone ages with more to come into the infinite future and Saudi Arabia got more cozy with the Bush crime family for helping produce the pre-text for war (even though it was obviously provided under false pre-tenses, as the Bush admin. lied to Saudi Arabia to goad them into providing "people" (probably for jobs as pilots) that could be available to take the fall for the 9/11 attacks.

Those countries weren't responsible for it. Al Qaeda was responsible for it. Al Qaeda had supporters in these countries that hate the U.S. The Taliban, who ruled Afghanistan, was happy to host an organization that was planning on attacking the U.S. People that hate U.S to the degree of some Al Qaeda's strongest supporters will usually support an attack on it.

It benefitted Afghanistan because they got rid of the Taliban and it benefitted Saudi Arabia, because they got rid of Osama and other terrorist organizations.

americans just DON'T UNDERSTAND: Most terrorism (9/11 is no exception) has nothing to do with individual state GOVERNMENTS.
It is purpetrated by psychologically unstable hotheads (in this case) misusing religion as an excuse for their inexcusable acts.

I don't think these countries gained anything from it. There are many evidences and many questions that I wonder who really are responsible for 9/11, you know, goverments are very powerful, and they can do whatever to get what they want
