Americans: People with good hearts, first on the line when help is needed, too naive that it is doing them harm even when they are on the line to aid others, they are misjudged, misunderstood. God Bless them All. Just like it is in any country around the world. They have their Good, their Bad, their Beautiful and their Ugly, but all in all they are good people.
The US, a Beautiful country.

A Very Happy New Year to ALL

I am American. I think we still have great unity, and pride. A good kind.

We also can work very hard. Blue collar, farmers, all kinds of labors.

And a surprising lack of needed professional people. Very under-supplied. Probably due to an over emphasis on physical work, at the sacrifice of using the mind. I don't know why.

We need to stop exploiting other people's in the world. Start doing more for ourselves again, and treat other countries in a fairer way.

And we must start thinking for ourselves, and taking personal action when things are not right!

I don't mean in any kind of a harmful way, but by going out there, and whatever legal way we have to, letting our governments know how we feel.

Not only for ourselves, but for people who are suffering in the rest of the world.

Happy New Year!

I always love a chance to tell someone how much I love America. When you say USA to me the first word I think of is WONDERFUL. I'm so proud to be an American and there's no place on earth that I'd rather be than in the good old USA. God Bless America from sea to shining sea.

I've been around the world and have seen quite a bit. I'm proud to say that America is still the greatest country on earth. I'm always glad to come home.
The only other place that was almost okay was the Congo. If you don't mid the remoteness. The people were great.
I've also noticed in my travels that everyone wants to leave the country the live in and go somewhere else. I haven't run in to that much in America.

At first I think: my second home. Then I think of all the bad things about the USA: greed, control hiding behind the mask of democracy, war, American football, ...
No matter how hard I try, I can't seem to think of any good things that cancel out those bad things.

I think Americans are widely misunderstood by people in other countries as a result of our governments actions.

I think we have the most amazing country on earth, but we are in danger of giving up our entire way of life if we continue to let our current administration chip away at our Consitutional rights!

I think we also are a little arrogant when recognizing when it's time to admit we're wrong (as in Iraq) or when we need to change (as in taking steps to slow global warming and protect our environment).
