The inflammatory prostaglandins that cause you to slough your uterine lining (in other words, menstrate) are free cirulating - and metabolic powder kegs. It is not unusual for women to have an upset stomach for this reason - or diarhea either.
I'll second the ginger ale recommendation.

We are all different and all feel different systems during your period. I felt like I was pregnant before I started, and was nauseous for a few days I would take a 1/4 Dramamine (it would make me sleepy).

Maybe your Dr. could recommend something if it that bothersome to you. It may go away with time and age. I do not have that anymore. Our bodies change every 7 or so years.
I hope you find something that works for you

It's possible you have either an iron deficiency (not enough iron in your blood), or low blood sugar. The former is an especially real problem for women who have periods. In the case of an iron deficiency, eat more red meat (you may have noticed that guys rarely have iron deficiencies, and that would be why).

But just to be safe, since I'm NOT a doctor, you might want to schedule an appointment with yours.

Well many girls/women have different symptoms for when their periods come on. I get really sick and start throwin up a lot. My doctor told me to just start takin tylenol or some kind of pain pills for cramps a week or 3 days before your period is supposed to come on.

this is a normal thing about getting a period the only thing you can really do is like take something for the nauseousness and pain and exercise takes away cramps and stuff. if the nauseousness gets really bad were you start throwing up and stuff see a doctor right away though thats a sign something is wrong.

A woman's hormones can get a little crazy during that time: I have to deal with a similar problem.

Try drinking tea with mint or ginger in it to calm your stomach.

Good luck!
