No. I never let the "thumbs" icons sway my decision of "Best Answer". I always choose the answer I feel is most appropriate.

I pick the one that I think is the best. But I do check out the numbers of thumbs up to see how other people are thinking

No I would make up my own mind
because they are not always right

It depends on my question.. But I don't choose because of number of votes.. But if the answer is so simple and a lot of people got it, I'd give best answer to person with lowest points.. But otherwise I just choose what I think is best..
