I have an iPod nano, but would like a video iPod. I'm saving up for college and I definately DON'T have the money for it yet. I can't decide whether to buy a video iPod and sell my nano or just put the money in my savings account for college. What do you guys think?

First of all, I know if I spend about $250 on an iPod, I can still go to college. I'm not that stupid. But some people don't have enough money to buy a car, pay for tuition, room, & board, and pay for all their necesities. I'm sorry to all of you pitiful people who think I'm so dumb I shouldn't go to college. Some people on this Earth just don't have enough money to get everything they want. I'm sorry for your precious time and you're welcome for the two points.

i think some people have misunderstood your question. its not a toss up between college classes and an ipod. The quandry is spending money on 1 -something that can easily break, be lost, stolen, and might go out of style or be considered inferior to newer techonology in a short period of time. or 2 - a savings account that will help you with a college education, which is as one person pointed out, a qualification that can allow to you make a lot of money to buy things that are way better than an ipod. COLLEGE

omfg, do u even have to ask that question? Ipods are nice, but no where near as valuable as a masters or bachelors degree from college. Because if you don't go to college, your job choices are limited, you can only be a waiter or a janitor. I say save up for college and after that, you can get a great job and buy almost whatever you want!! My dad is an engineer and I have a cellphone, an IPOD shuffle, an IPOD video, my own desktop computer, an IPOD pillow, and we live in a really nice house, so I say go for the savings bond for college.

My brother has a video iPod and rarely uses the video function. I have an iPod nano and always use the music function but never the pictures option. My point is that an iPod is a music player, first and foremost.
Ultimately, it is up to you the buyer. Do you see yourself using the video function enough to make it worth the money? Personally, I think college is the better choice due to the fact that you already have a nano.
I hope this helps.

Ummmm......i think you have a SERIOUS lack of oxygen in your brain, i think that going to college, and getting an education, and having a job to actually PAY for your iPod is better than buying another one, and what the heck would you want to get a new one if you already have one?

Umm...very hard question. I think that you should sell the nano and buy the video. i dont think $250 would ruin your colllege fund! if you sell your old ipod then you would just have spend $150
