Well, if you in DOWNTOWN Los Angeles I would recommend the original Pantry owned by the only real mayor that the city of Los Angeles ever had.

It's been open since 1924 and twelve of the employees have been there for at least 20 years!! -- Now that is service you can count on and will never get at any loser Denny's.

I recommend Norm's Restaurants. You can find them all over the place in Los Angeles. I usually stopped there after work when I was on the evening shift.

Canter's on Fairfax Avenue. It's the best place in LA to people-watch at 3 am. It's also the scene for the Carl's Jr commercial for the pastrami burger (and, yes, that waitress really works there.)

Mel's Diner in Hollywood on sunset blvd is a great place I think they are open 24 hours the food is ok but its a great spot to people watch and even see someone famous!!

Jack in the box..has coffee and they are open 24 hours a day.

I know in the Inland Empire there are Yum Yum doughnuts all over the place that are all 24 hours.
