Why do you suspect that she is? If she is your friend, it shouldn't matter. Also, if she is your friend, as Brandi said, just ask her. Some girls get offended that their friend could be a lesbian. If won't rub off and she probaly won't try anything with you. So be a friend and tell her that its okay if she is because you are still friends. and being a good friend, you stick by her.

The slang for desiring the same gender with women, we must assume. If you are in doubt, she is probably not! This is statistical and applies to men and women! The problem is that those that are into the lifestyle want to give wrong oppinions of those that have no desire for the same gender! This is why the activists for the alternate lifestyles have such a large claim in percentage compared to what statistics show us! For men in the US it is claimed by the activists as 15% where it is actually between 1 and 3! The ladies activists for the Lesbian lifestyle claim about 12% for those who have TRIED the lifestyle... It is actually about 3%. Some good advice... Don't claim for another what probably is not! Have a great day being how you were really made.. a woman..and she may like women, in that way, less than even you!!!

One thing you can do is to ask her. Another thing you can do is to ask her out and take notice of how she acts toward you and how she acts toward other girls that will be where you go. Something else you can do is to ask some of her friends if they have noticed something different about her behavior and if they have noticed her being around other girls a lot. You might also find out if she has avoided guys in any noticeable way.
