Resolutions are intensely personal, and they can be about anything that matters to you.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with getting tested for HIV, but there is something wrong with NOT getting tested. Get tested. Knowing is beautiful. So what if you live in a small town. You will be known as someone responsible. I get tested twice a year. My mom was angry when I first started getting tested, but I explained to her that you have to nowadays. Plus in my field of work, it's easier to get than say someone who works in an office. If it's that important to you call a doctor in another town and go there. The results are confidential anyways so how would the people in your town know what you are going for. I just got tested last week and I'm fine. I'm sure you are too.
