does any one know about area 51 or been there?

why isnt there information or updated pictures of this area. Is it really a place ufo are being examined or a test site.?

There aren't any updated pictures for a couple reasons.

The ones that we have are from Soviet spy satelites, the Soviets are Russians now and don't have nearly as much interest in the high level operations of our millitary.

Also, shortly after those pictures were released, the unoffical but still heavily gaurded base was decomissioned. There isn't much point in having a secret base that everyone knows about and can see pictures of.. except to serve as a decoy. I have read that the new black project faculity is somewhere near a biological testing site in Utah, but that was in Popular Science which is notorious for being popular but not nessicarily very scientific or accurate.

There are or were other faculitys in the desert wastes around Vegas, one known as S3 and a few other sites. They may still be active, as well. My uncle lives in Vegas and was a colonel in the Air Force, while I've never asked what exactly he was doing in Vegas, I know he was on those infamous white jets.

Area 51 is 10 kilometers west of Area 50, and has a very small population at the present time. This place is government property, and not open to the general public. that is why there are no particular maps or photos of it for public consumption. As to the number of UFO's being tested there, or how long those tests have been going on...I would ask you to ask a politician. All politicians are honest men and women who have nothing to hide, and you can rely on their answers to your questions.

All I know is that only authorized personnel are allowed there. There was a crash about maybe 60 years ago roughly. Rumored to be UFO crash site, but one thing is for sure that it is a highy secure US Airforce base. I've also heard there were a lot of tests for secret weapons and aircraft such as the Blackbird (A high altitude bomber that is capable of dropping precision bombs right outside the earths atmosphere aka space) The place does exist that is a fact, what that place contains, remains a true mystery to the general population.

I don't know much about Area 51 except for the sensationalism which surrounds the topic. I've never been there and from my understand it is a restricted place. I don't even think the area shows up on any recent maps for the general public view. It's a highly guarded area & no one who will talk about it really knows what is there. There is much conjecture over the existence of aliens and it's association with "flying saucers". The reason why people saw flying saucers was because they were actually being tested. A flat round flying object is the most difficult to capture on radar systems but also the worst type of object in terms of aerodynamics and control in the air.

Yes, Area 51 a government test site for experiments that they don't want released to the general public. For example, during WWII color video cameras were being developed there. Without people knowing, the U.S. government recorded some WWII battles in color video.

There are always rumors about ufo's and other 'extreme' things, so to speak, there.

Area 51 was at one time a very secretive test facility. It is now a clever distraction. The really wierd stuff is going on at a Westinghouse/U.S. Govt facility in Washington State. The "black" projects were moved there some time ago when area 51 started getting popular. When was the last time you went to a store and bought anything that Westinghouse makes? That company is almost entirely devoted to developing advanced technology for the U.S. Govt. now. Basically anything your mind can imagine, the U.S. has the technology to do, or is in process. As for the whole alien thing.....I dunno nothing.

The history channel just had a special on it- you can probably just go online and enter area 51- the Roswell Incident- I believe it is true- there is actually a movie about it and the story goes a spaceship crashed in Roswell, New Mexico and the government covered it up- there are eyewitnesses that they interviewed in the special stating they saw pieces of the spaceship and one actually saw the alien body--- there are rumors that one alien was still alive- and, is still at area 51.

the area 51 you talking about is situated in a dry lake bed just north of indian springs nevada. they fly people in to the area daily to work from indian springs airforce base. i have been by there a couple times. also been numerous documentaries done on the area. but if you want a real head turner look at rickenbacher field in dayton ohio they have huge underground labs and testing equipment and supposedely is where roswell stuff was taken to
