No, i dont think so becuase that wouldnt be nice. ANd also if they do that everyone else might be too scared to borrow any more books , so the library will lose business. Also they can contact your parents...or they would send u a paper to notice u that you have overdue books.

Not that I've ever heard of, but they might make you pay for a book if it's too long over due(by several years) and at worst ban you from the library.

No, but they can contact your parents and determine what the situation is. I suggest you find some money and pay up immediately. If you're afraid your parents will find out, well, it's better if you tell them now than when they get the phone call from the library.

No, that sounds outrageous. Children like adults I know can lose their borrowing privledges when materials are not returned. That is the harshest penatly.
