It's all wrong. There is going to be a huge uproar in the muslim community that is only going to glorify him more. There are going to be young men recruited to the jihad crusade against the American government because of this, which means more death. He's was a monster and should have been dealt with, but not in that way.

It's absolutely no use to apply Western Christian thinking in this case.

The fact is, the honour of family and community REQUIRES that the death-penalty be applied in such cases, and carried out swiftly.

On a scale of justice, it was certainly a lot more appropriate than executing two unrpentant gay-teenagers in public, in Iran.

The taunting of Saddam was very wrong and unprofessional, but even that is understandable, given the scale of the crimes Saddam inflicted, and the fact that he actually ENJOYED carrying them out and torturing people.

I know quite a few young Iraqi-Kurds in the UK, who will be feeling much happier now, since they have no families of their own.

Absolutely necessary!!!! I think that he should have been turned over to the families of those he tortured and killed...just like bin laden should be put in the streets of New York so the people there can do what they please with him. What would you want to do with someone who would do the things to your loved ones that these men did to all those other people. Just like all those murderers and sex offenders in prison costing all of the good working people soooo much in taxes so they can have 3 meals a day and better health care than most people.

it might have been something that a lot of Iraqi people needed.

remember Saddam killed and tortured a lot of people and some form of justice needed to be served.

Of course he deserved it, he commited heinous crimes against humanity. He showed no mercy to the many people he killed and now, the Legal System showed him no mercy.

The same look that was in his victim's face. Thousands of them. And they didn't get a trial and were tortured.

It didn't seem to hurt. They were dancing in the street. Some were mad though because they chose a holiday to do it.

Killing someone to tell that killing is wrong. How much sense makes that?
