I already tried to install, but after a system check, it tells me the memory test did not pass and aborts the install.

I already did a disk cleanup and the computer is less than a year old.

Look up your computer at http://www.coastmemory.com These people are very reliable, and will provide you with terrific assistance.
You save a few bucks when you BUY on-line, but you can also call 1-800-463-6679. Their guarantee is good, so if you have trouble, they will help.
Good luck and Happy Computing!

Did you already try installing the game? You actually have 256 MB of RAM. The computer always tells you you have less RAM because 256 is more of an average. For example, I have a 160 GB hard drive but the computer says I only have 159.6 GB or something like that. So the game should work. If it doesn't, then there's some other problem like hard disk space or video card. Hope this helps you.

All this is good but if you can't afford new and are useing XP go to optimzexp.com... and follow directions on changeing setting to create little more ram. This is a like there to a website that will tell you how to close sys programs as many are set to auto start. what this will do is change the start up setting to manual and a few to close them. Then do alt_cntr_del go to divice manager and close down all owner programs not needed. I tricked an older comp this way to load a game. dwn side is you need to go to divice manager everytime you want to play also empty the temp files on the interet op screen. You really need more ram 500 min but 1 k is better. I run EverQuest 2 on 500 ram when sys requires 1k

My suggestion? Bypass the aggravation and install another 256Mb of RAM. This should cost way less than $100 and a side benefit that you will get is that almost everything else that you use the PC for will run faster. RAM comes in many 'flavors' so before going to the store consult your PC's documentation to help you determine what RAM to buy.

is this and old computer? if your comp only has that much space keep this in mind... once downloading a game even when you unistall it it still remains in the hard drive of your comp. one thing you can do is...start,accesories,system tools, disk clean up. this should be done about once a month depending on the usage. the if the comp is older then run disk defragmenter also. www.myspace.com/jimmycody

Just get more RAM. It is very affordable now, and relatively simple to install.
