Honestly mate......went to school with (25 yearsago) black kids and am still in contact with them now........but this crap that is going on lately, stripping this country of its identity, is causing more racism. We are lead to believe that the way we.......we as brits (not sure where you are from) are, and have always been, wrong, and panderring to the (at the moment!) minority is a joke. I am furious....never been before...but in the last 6 years or so....FURIOUS. This government is creating racism. I have been to many muslim countries on my travels and have abided by their rules and regs regarding clothing....and just basically everything they live by..........but in this country, we just keep changing and adapting for them.....what next? Sharia Law? I'm off to Oz as soon as possible......at least they stand by there own convictions.....come to think of it..so do France and that's saying something....no?

I am definitely not racist - but maybe I am culturist which is what I think most people are.
Racism is extremist and generally reserved for those what will not tolerate colour.
From my experience, most people do not have a problem with colour - on condition those people fall within and understand the culture of the person they are communicating with.
I have lived in a number of countries where racism was a law. But the general consensus was that the other race was almost family. There were other races in the same country who treated the same people as slaves.
Culture and religion are the problem not race.
I would bet that given the opportunities I have had you would not judge people on race...
I generalise and say that I do not agree with the policies of some religions - but there again they all can't be tarred with the same brush. Yes I will make the statement that I don't approve of this or that religion however I do not object to the person unless they are extremist.
and by extremist I mean of any nature - I like tolerance and am willing to give anyone a chance. I understand there are cultural differences but extremist beliefs be it muslim nazi bnp etc should not be tolerated.
we all need to understand other cultures and I think we judge by culture or religion rather than race.

I used to hate lots of different types of people mostly scumbags though and not directed at any particular race or colour or creed. Indians used to rank high up there until I went to Saudi Arabia to work and met with lots of Indians who were really nice people, so now they are not so bad.
My main dislike is immigrants coming into the UK feeding off our benefits system of which I have paid into for over 20 years, I go to the hospital/doctors and can't get an appointment cause there maxed out with immigrants. These f*****g asylum seekers are just sponging off the state. Maybe my hatred should be directed to the British Government as they are the dickheads that have allowed them to get in.
Now we are to have the Romanians flooding in bringing untold crime as have the other Eastern Bloc country folk. At least when the Indians flooded into Britain they brought the good old curry with them, whats the Romanians going to bring?

No, I'm not a racist. When you look at one group as a whole, it may be easy to generalize, but individuals shouldn't be judged based on the group.
Suppose the human race was judged by the worst of us. That's what racist people do. They judge people by the worst in their group.
In all races there are people who are humanity's best, and people who are considered criminals, classless, and embarrassments to their race. And then there are most of us who are somewhere in the middle.
So, no, I don't fall into that trap. I can't look at a person and tell what kind of person they are. Looks are deceiving. I'd rather get to know the person first.

Most people are racist and don't even know it~ Just because they don't go around throwing out derragatory comments or call names doesn't make them not racist... It often and unfortunately just makes them too scared of the consequences to tell the truth.
If you ask most people what they think is more beautiful or more intelligent; Black, Hispanic White or Asian... Most people will have a strong opinion and it usually reflects what they are or what they like... That is showing preference, one thing or race over another and it is essentially what it is to be racist...
Just because people don't use the s work or the C work or the N word doesn't make them any less racist than someone who prefers the look and culture of a black person over a white one.
Racists come in all shapes colors and sizes... Most people are one degree or another of either ignorance or fear or a well hidden socially acceptable combination of both so...
I do not believe that there is any honor in admitting that you are a bigot... There is more decency in admitting that you have socaially succumb to it at one time, or in one way or another in your life as we all have. Most of it is not malicious these are the turds I have a problem with.
I remember saying out loud at work in a social setting of a mixed nature how watermelon seeds were very good for your skin and that as a model Tyra Banks must eat a lot of watermelon seeds because she has beautiful skin...
The black girl in the room automatically assumed that I was being racist when that honestly was the farthest thing from my mind... SHE went there in her assumption, not me and from that point on, because of her big mouth, I was a racist in the eyes of all of the white people that took her side because some people just go to the opposite extreme so as not to be associated with something that makes for an uncomfortable situation...
SHE was the racist... not me! She was black! yet I was labeled because of her and not one person in the room was willing or able to accept it considering... It was a shame and I quit shortly after because she became impossible to work with after. I even tried to explain myself and it obviously made it worse!

I would imagine that everyone is a rascist to a certain degree, remember that I said rascist and not colour prejudice as is commonly misconstrued as the only form of rascism. If you dislike any country for any reason, no matter what colour the majority of the people from there are, you are being racist.

Sometimes, can't say who, but it is not about colour, but attitude of certain people from a particular group of countries. Like you prevented from being honest, but every time i have to catch a bus i am terrified i will be confronted by a rude driver with terrible English who will speak to me as if i am something the dog did, and then drive like a moron.

No, I'm not. Racism is wrong and illegal, and if racists were running America, we would have an unfair, unequal society and probably a bunch of civil unrest, too.
Luckily, people who admit they are racists rarely get very far in society, partly because of their social incompetence and partly because racists are rarely very smart people.
