Getting a refund on a christmas gift?

Can I exchange a gift I got with a recipt for cash even if the original purchase was made on a debit card?

Not at most stores. They will likely let you exchange it or they may put the refund on a gift card, but no cash.

Yes. Some will give you cash, some will put it on a gift card and some will credit your account. One of the three.

yes they will give you only store credit tell them it was a gift an you would like a gift card in exchange
