Movies and tv programs don't spoil today's youth. Permissive parents spoil today's youth.
I can't tell you how many kids tell me that they have seen R rated movies or even Kindergarten children that go to PG13 movies. I have been asking what are the favorite summer movies of my kids for years to do computer spreadsheets on.

Yes, In some ways they are, now kids are just interested in movies, games and television. If the movies are educational and they help kids learn, then thats an expection, but if the movies or tv shows just teaching kids bad language or watching violence then i would say that yes, they are spoiling the youth.

Not really. Video games might, but only because they're so much more time consuming and hyperviolent than television.

No there has always been bad entertainment since the days of Rome.
