if you have seen this movie did you think it made sense because i sure the hell don't, when his wife Adrain died and i think he said she had cancer or something but in rocky 5 she wasn't even sick she was just really normal and the way he was lifting weights at his age shouln't of have happend, also at the end of the movie it turned out that the guy who played mason dixion ended up wining from a split decision now i though that was really stupid and it really was exciting like all the other rocky movies that he made and i personally think he should of left this movie alone b/c it really sucked for the most part, so what do you think about all of this?

Stallone needing to make this movie to get his name out there again, it play 'cause he, like the character is getting older in years.

Rocky's wife getting sick. Cancer is quick my friend.

As for the ending, it says for Rocky it was not about winning the fight, he just won getting into the ring again.

1) I think it would imply that Adrain got cancer somewhere in the 16-year span between Rocky V (1990) and Rocky Balboa (2006).

2) It's Sly Stallone! He has many years of experience in bodybuilding, so he knows what he's doing. You can never be too old to lift weights.

3) The same the thing happened in the first Rocky, where Apollo Creed won by one point, so in essence, the Rocky series ended like it started.

I liked the movie. Adrian died 12 years after the events of Rocky 5, which is plenty of time to develop an illness and succumb to it. Rocky fighting in his late 50's strained credibility but Stallone is in good enough shape to pull it off. As far as the ending goes, that's the way the first one ended, in a split decision.
This wasn't the best Rocky but it was better than number 5 and I enjoyed it.

I was confused about how he simply no longer had the brain damage that crippled him throughout most of the fifth movie. For all we know Adrian could have been sick in the last film but since cancer is hard to detect in places like the heart, lungs, and brain because you can not find out unless you can feel the place. I think that the girl shouldn't have been as important as his own son though.

I liked it. For Adrian, do realize it was over 15 between movies, meaning years that Adrain could've gotten sick then. For age, who cares?! I liked the movie.
