No, I don't think it's cheating, but for some strange reason, I didn't bother to look at the answers this time. You're given me a vulcan mind-meld or something.
I look because if I answer a question, I want to add something to the discussion: especially if it's an objective question. If I have nothing new to impart, then why bother. If someone else has the 'right' answer (objectively) or parrots my feelings on a subjective question, the most I might do is give a 'ditto'.
Now I'll take a look see and find out if I just wasted my/your time.
Peace (dang Vulcans)
Afternote... See, what did I tell ya. Same darn answers

no, looking is common place.
The trust is on the answerer to still give an "unbiased" answer, not a direct response from the earlier answers.
I often like to look at some of the other answers just to make sure we are answering the same question!
see my question about pyramid schemes to see how to really cheat in this place!

I look at others' answers to see if they've said what I feel answers the question. If I find they have, then I move on and answer someone who hasn't gotten any well-thought out answer. A majority of people tend to answer off the top of their heads, and those are not necessarily the best answers.

I prefer to read other's answers before I write one. If I find one that is the same as the answer I would give, I give it a thumb's up, and move on to the next question.
